AirFly is a wireless headphone adapter that lets you use your favorite wireless headphones or earbuds in places that only have a headphone jack - like airplanes and treadmills. Plug this tiny transmitter into a headphone jack to listen to in-flight movies or the TVs at the gym. AirFly Pro lets two people listen to the same soundtrack, podcast or music with their favorite noise-cancelling headphones or AirPods.
Connect two pair of headphones to share music, movies and more.
New 16+ hour battery lasts as long as your longest coast-to-coast flight.
Use AirFly Pro as an AUX IN adapter for your car, boat or non-Bluetooth speaker.

Use wireless headphones with any headphone jack
Have you ever wanted to use your Powerbeats while on the treadmill to catch up on the news at the gym? AirFly makes those connections - which were previously limited to wired headphones - wireless. You can also use AirFly with game consoles like the Nintendo Switch to listen to audio with your favorite wireless headphones. New parent? Mom and Dad can use AirFly Pro to send the audio from the Netflix show on their iPad to their wireless headphones, while their baby sleeps between them.
First-class listening experience on planes.
When the movie begins on your next long flight, plug AirFly Pro into your seat’s headphone jack to listen to the movie with the new AirPods Pro or other premium noise cancelling wireless headphones. Since AirFly Pro is a headphone splitter, two people can listen to the in-flight movie soundtrack or an Apple TV show on your MacBook Air, MacBook Pro or iPad Pro with their favorite wireless headphones.
Meet your new wireless headphone splitter.
AirFly Pro works with most popular wireless headphones and earbuds. Even when you pair two sets of headphones with AirFly Pro, you can use any combination of wireless headphone brands. You connect your wireless headphones to this little splitter pretty much the same way you would pair your favorite headphones with any other wireless devices, such as your iPhone.
Send audio from your iPhone to a car stereo.
AirFly Pro can send audio from your iPhone to the stereo in a car. So next time you’re in a rental car, use AirFly Pro to stream directions from Waze instead of syncing your entire iPhone with the rental car. Use AirFly Pro on your boat, in a ride-share car or to stream music to an older, yet still awesome, non-Bluetooth speaker.
Make old-school cool with AirFly.
Time to upgrade your favorite old-school gear and make them wireless! Attach AirFly Pro or Duo to any classic iPod and send your music wirelessly to your AirPod Pros. Talk about “old meets new!” Even cooler? Plug AirFly Pro (typically with an adapter) to the output of a record player and play your favorite vinyl wirelessly over a nice, loud bluetooth speaker (or Beats headphones when the neighbors complain).
A Day in the Life with AirFly Pro - Watch Now.
"It's real strength is it's simplicity. I was up and running in a little over a minute, with pristine audio pumping out of my Bluetooth headphones with no audio delay whatsoever."
- Sebastian Modak, Conde Nast Traveler
“AirFly is a terrific option... We can’t recommend it enough.”
All models of AirFly are compatible with Bluetooth-based wireless headphones and earbuds. AirFly is also compatible with Bluetooth speakers!
AirFly PRO has the additional feature of being able to connect to your car stereo via RX mode.
I want to use AirFly with Nintendo Switch, will it work?
AirFly works great with Nintendo Switch! However, you will not be able to use AirFly for talking with someone over chat, as it does not receive audio. Insider Tip: AirFly is completely fine hanging from the headphone jack. In fact, this is the best position for optimal audio performance. But if you would like to attach it directly to the Switch, simply add a small Velcro dot to both the Switch and AirFly. Now you can focus on avoiding banana peels and not dongles!
I watch movies on my iPad when I fly, why do I need AirFly?
We love watching TV & movies on our iPad too, but many in-flight entertainment systems feature live TV, news and sports with services like DIRECTV on JetBlue and the Dish Network on Delta. Also many times airlines feature first-run movies you might not have a chance to download the night before. AirFly simply gives you the option to use your favorite *wireless* headphones - while enjoying these in-flight options.
Can I use AirFly for phone calls? Or as a two-way gaming headset? I watch movies on my iPad when I fly, why do I need AirFly?
Not yet. AirFly is designed for Transmitting audio. AirFly Pro can even be switched to Receive audio (great for sending music from your mobile phone to an AUX-IN). However, at this time - AirFly does not do both at the same time.
Are there any issues with volume when using AirFly Classic with AirPods 2 or AirPods Pro? Can I use AirFly for phone calls? Or as a two-way gaming headset?
Some customers may notice a reduced volume using AirFly Classic (not Pro, Duo or USB-C) with their AirPods or AirPods Pro - when compared to AirPods or AirPods Pro volume when used directly with Apple devices like iPhone, iPad etc. Usually this volume difference can be remedied by simply turning up the source volume. Try to set the volume on the device you are connecting AirFly to - the in-flight entertainment system on an airplane, the cardio machine at the health club - to its highest possible volume setting.
Sometimes the audio drops out or goes silent for a few seconds when I have the volume low on my source-device (the device into which the AirFly is plugged). Can I prevent this?
This is a characteristic of all Bluetooth adapters, not just AirFly. Bluetooth adapters receive analog audio from the headphone jack, and convert it into Bluetooth data to transmit to your wireless headphones. But to function properly, they depend on a certain minimum amount of volume from the source-device. So if you turn the source audio down too low, this can affect performance and drop-outs can happen.

Instructions need more detail
Think it will be fine but have used yet on an airplane. Had a little difficulty pairing it…the instructions could use more details. I had to search the internet to discover why it would not pair and fix it. That info in the instructions would have been nice.

AirFly saved my flight!
I purchased an AirFly a little while ago but didn't have the opportunity to actually *use* it until I was on a very long flight to Hawaii recently. I got the standard free headphones from the flight attendant and tried to watch a movie, but the sound was so bad it was actually painful. I hadn't planned to use the AirFly -- I hadn't even set it up yet -- but I'd brought it along just in case, and I was able to get it working in a minute or two. The difference was night and day; the movie sound went from terrible to perfect, and I had a *much* better time watching movies for the rest of the flight. The AirFly saved the day for me!

Really good. Almost what I needed.
It’s a clean design and works well. It is almost what I need.
Are use it as a Bluetooth receiver and adapter to get my iPhone 13 into my 2008 truck stereo. The unit WONT pass cell phone audio, which Hi really need to be a hands-free Senior. I wonder why it does that? Probably an iOS operating system thing but you guys do say you are compatible with Apple, so, any ideas? Thank you.

We're so glad you love AirFly! Although AirFly can receive and transmit audio, it cannot do both at the same time so it is not able to support mic audio. It sounds like this may be the issue that you're running into. If you'd like more information or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our product experts at support@twelvesouth.com.
