Just how sturdy is BookArc Flex?
BookArc Flex holds most laptops with up to a 14-inch screen and under 1-inch thick, perfectly sturdy. But use common sense; if your office is in a bumpy construction zone, or you have cats walking all over your desk and they have knocked down items before, you might want an entirely different style stand like our Twelve South Curve Flex.
Also note: We recommend you set your laptop into BookArc Flex as straight as possible (90 degrees to the desk), as BookArc will not correct an improperly placed laptop.
With these considerations, we find BookArc Flex to be a beautiful and sturdy vertical stand for your MacBook or laptop.
Will I need to purchase inserts when upgrading to a newer machine?
As long as it is within the compatible dimensions, BookArc Flex will work with any laptop you have now or that you may buy in the future. No ifs, ands or add-ons!
